1. Patient Care

4. Quality Assurance and Research

  • Monitor and report adverse drug reactions (ADRs) and medication errors.
  • Participate in or lead clinical research projects related to pharmacology or therapeutics.
  • Evaluate new medications for formulary inclusion based on efficacy, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

5. Education and Training

  • Provide training and continuing education to healthcare staff on pharmacological practices and updates.
  • Mentor pharmacy students and residents as part of educational programs.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in pharmacotherapy and share knowledge within the organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Pharm D.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare industry.

Skills and Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of pharmacology, drug therapy, and clinical guidelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and address patient-specific medication issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and other healthcare technologies.
