Job Title: OT MANAGER
Job Summary: The OT Manager is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and smooth functioning of the Operation Theatre. This role ensures patient safety, efficient use of OT resources, compliance with hospital policies, and adherence to clinical, safety, and infection control standards. The OT Manager coordinates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and support teams to ensure timely and high-quality surgical services.

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Operation Theatre (OT) to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient functioning.
- Plan, coordinate, and schedule surgical procedures in collaboration with surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff.
- Ensure strict adherence to hospital policies, clinical protocols, infection control, and sterilization standards.
- Manage OT staff including nurses, technicians, and support staff; handle duty rosters, training, and performance monitoring.
- Ensure availability, maintenance, and proper use of surgical instruments, equipment, and consumables
- Coordinate with biomedical, housekeeping, CSSD, and other departments for seamless OT operations.
- Handle OT documentation, reports, audits, and incident management.
- Manage inventory control, cost optimization, and procurement planning related to OT supplies
Qualifications & Education:
- BSc Nursing
- Minimum 10 years of experience as ot incharge
- Strong knowledge of OT protocols, sterilization techniques, infection control, and patient safety standards.
- Good leadership, communication, and team-management skills.
