Country Description: Oman is a peaceful country in the Middle East, located on the southeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula. Its capital is Muscat. The country is known for its rich culture, beautiful deserts, mountains, and long coastline.

  1. OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Assess patients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions to determine functional limitations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to improve daily living and working skills.
  • Help patients regain independence in activities such as dressing, bathing, eating, and mobility.
  • Provide therapy for individuals recovering from injury, surgery, stroke, or illness.
  • Train patients in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices.

2. SPEECH THERAPIST

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and communication disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Conduct therapy sessions to improve speech clarity, fluency, and language skills.
  • Assist patients with swallowing and feeding difficulties (dysphagia management).
  • Work with children experiencing developmental speech delays and learning difficulties.
  • Support adults recovering from stroke, brain injury, or neurological conditions.
  • Use specialized tools and therapy techniques to enhance communication abilities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in relevant field
  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant clinical experience in hospital / rehabilitation center / multidisciplinary setup.
  • Experience with pediatric / neuro / rehab cases preferred
  • Good communication skills
