Job Description: JSLP-3439 Painter – Hospitality Industry (Bangalore)

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to, confirm your Job Descriptions with the Interviewer:
- Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, and repair surfaces to prepare them for painting. This includes filling holes, cracks, and joints with putty, plaster, or other fillers.
- Material Selection: Choose the appropriate type and color of paint or finish according to the client’s specifications and the surface being painted.
- Application: Apply paint, varnish, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Ensure even coating and coverage.
- Finishing Touches: Add decorative finishes and textures where needed, including stenciling, marbling, or faux finishes.
- Cleanup: Remove all masking tape and tarps, clean brushes and other equipment, and ensure that the work area is left tidy.
- Safety: Follow all safety protocols to protect oneself and others, including the proper use of protective equipment and ventilation procedures.
- Client Communication: Interact with clients to understand their needs and preferences, provide estimates and timelines, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintenance: Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and store them properly.
Qualifications:
- Education: Plus two or equivalent. Additional training or apprenticeships in painting or a related field is beneficial.
- Experience: 1 year experience in painting or a related trade. Experience with various painting techniques and tools is preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Knowledge of different paint types, finishes, and surface preparation techniques.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for color and design.
- Physical stamina and dexterity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
Work Environment:
- Indoor and outdoor environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
- Exposure to paint fumes, chemicals, and varying weather conditions.
