- Patient Care:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the outpatient department, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist with minor surgical procedures, wound care, and dressing changes.
- Patient Assessment and Monitoring:
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ health status and needs.
- Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients’ conditions, and report any significant changes to the physician.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in medical records.
- Coordination and Communication:
- Coordinate patient care activities with other healthcare team members.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide patient education and counseling regarding health conditions, treatments, and preventive care.
- Clinical Support:
- Prepare and maintain examination and treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for patient care.
- Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results as directed by the physician.
- Administrative Duties:
- Manage patient appointments and scheduling to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
- Health and Safety:
- Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in health and safety training and emergency response drills.
Qualifications:
- ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife).
- Current nursing license in the state of practice.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an outpatient or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other healthcare technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- May require lifting and assisting patients as needed.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
Salary: Based on interview performance.
