Job Description: JSLP-3466 Staff Nurse – Health Care Industry (Ernakulam)

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to, confirm your Job Descriptions with the Interviewer:

  • Patient Care:
    • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients.
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
    • Monitor patients’ vital signs and symptoms, and report any significant changes to the physician.
  • Patient Assessment and Monitoring:
    • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
    • Provide wound care, dressing changes, and other nursing procedures.
    • Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures.
  • Coordination and Communication:
    • Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
    • Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
  • Clinical Support:
    • Prepare and maintain patient care areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
    • Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals during examinations and treatments.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Health and Safety:
    • Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
    • Participate in health and safety training and emergency response drills.
    • Report and document any incidents or accidents promptly.

Qualifications:

  • B.sc Nursing or GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery).
  • Current nursing license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other healthcare technology.

Salary: Based on interview performance.
