Patient Care
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress.
- Provide wound care, IV therapy, and other clinical interventions as required.
- Support patients with daily activities, such as hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.
Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to provide education and emotional support.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and deliver patient-centered care.
- Report changes in patient conditions promptly to physicians and senior nursing staff.
Documentation and Compliance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including observations, treatments, and medication administration.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and infection control standards.
- Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and risk management activities.
Professional Development
- Stay updated on the latest nursing practices, treatments, and technologies.
- Attend training sessions, workshops, and continuing education programs.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Diploma or degree in nursing (e.g., BSN, GNM).
- Licensure: Active nursing license/registration as required by the governing body (e.g., RN, RGN).
- Experience:
- 1–3 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Experience in a specialty area (e.g., ICU, pediatrics, or geriatrics) is advantageous.
