Job Title: Head Supply Chain
Job Description: The Head of Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all supply chain operations, including procurement, production, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. This role involves developing and implementing strategic plans to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services. The Head of Supply Chain collaborates closely with internal departments, suppliers, and customers to ensure seamless operations and alignment with organizational goals.

Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Identify and implement initiatives to optimize supply chain processes, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Assess supply chain risks and establish contingency plans to ensure operational resilience.
Procurement and Supplier Management:
- Oversee procurement operations, ensuring the selection of reliable suppliers and cost-effective sourcing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.
- Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to quality, delivery, or cost.
Inventory and Demand Planning:
- Manage inventory levels to optimize working capital while preventing stockouts or overstocking.
- Implement advanced demand forecasting and planning tools to improve inventory accuracy.
- Ensure accurate and efficient material flow across the supply chain.
Logistics and Distribution:
- Oversee transportation, warehousing, and distribution networks to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Implement systems to track shipments, reduce lead times, and minimize logistics costs.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations related to transportation and trade.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team to enhance their skills and performance.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Set performance metrics and regularly evaluate the team’s effectiveness.
Technology and Process Improvement:
- Evaluate and implement technology solutions, such as ERP systems, to streamline supply chain operations.
- Leverage data analytics to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Drive sustainability initiatives within the supply chain to support environmental goals.
Financial and Operational Reporting:
- Prepare and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring cost efficiency.
- Provide regular reports on key supply chain metrics and present findings to senior management.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of the supply chain against benchmarks and KPIs.
Qualification:
- Any degree, MBA.
Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
