Job Title: Insurance Manager
Job Description: The Insurance Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the insurance operations of an organization. This includes handling policy procurement, claims processing, compliance with regulations, risk assessment, and coordination with internal departments and external insurance providers. The role requires strategic thinking, excellent organizational skills, and in-depth knowledge of insurance products and services.

Policy Management:
- Identify the insurance needs of the organization or clients and recommend appropriate coverage.
- Negotiate, purchase, and renew insurance policies, including property, liability, health, and life insurance.
- Ensure all policies align with organizational goals and legal requirements.
Claims Management:
- Handle and monitor insurance claims from initiation to resolution.
- Act as a liaison between the organization, insurers, and third parties during the claims process.
- Evaluate claims data to identify patterns or opportunities to mitigate risks.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
- Analyze organizational risks and recommend strategies to minimize exposure.
- Collaborate with risk management teams to design and implement preventive measures.
- Conduct regular reviews of insurance coverage to ensure adequacy.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with all insurance-related laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on insurance matters to senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of insurance policies, claims, and risk assessments.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with insurance brokers, underwriters, and other stakeholders.
- Stay updated on market trends, policy changes, and emerging insurance products.
- Negotiate terms, premiums, and service levels with insurance providers.
Team Leadership (if applicable):
- Lead and mentor a team of insurance professionals.
- Assign tasks, set performance goals, and provide regular feedback.
- Facilitate training and professional development for team members.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Any degree.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
