Job Description:The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for managing pharmacy operations, including staff supervision, regulatory compliance, inventory control, and customer service. This role ensures the delivery of safe and effective pharmaceutical services while meeting financial and operational goals.

Pharmacy Operations:
- Manage daily operations of the pharmacy, including prescription filling and patient consultations.
- Ensure the pharmacy complies with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of controlled substances and other medications.
Team Management:
- Hire, train, and supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians.
- Schedule and assign tasks to ensure optimal workflow and efficiency.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
Customer Service:
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner.
- Promote patient education regarding medications, usage, and potential side effects.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with healthcare providers and patients.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of medications and supplies.
- Order and manage inventory to minimize waste and reduce costs.
- Conduct regular audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
Financial Management:
- Monitor and manage the pharmacy’s budget and financial performance.
- Develop strategies to increase revenue and optimize operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with insurance and billing requirements.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay updated on industry standards, laws, and regulations.
- Implement and monitor compliance programs, including safety protocols.
- Prepare for and respond to inspections and audits.
Qualifications:
- Education: B Pharm, D Pharm.
- Licensing: Valid pharmacy license in the applicable jurisdiction.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
