Job Title: Emergency Medical Technician

Job Description: Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) provide critical pre-hospital care and transportation for patients experiencing medical emergencies. EMTs assess, stabilize, and manage patient conditions in various emergency scenarios while ensuring their safety and comfort during transport to healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to, confirm your Job Descriptions with the Interviewer:

Emergency Response

  • Respond promptly to emergency calls as directed by dispatchers.
  • Safely operate and navigate ambulances to the scene of an incident and transport patients to medical facilities.

Patient Care

  • Assess patient conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and medical history.
  • Administer basic life support (BLS) procedures such as CPR, airway management, and bleeding control.
  • Apply bandages, splints, and other medical interventions to stabilize injuries or conditions.
  • Communicate with patients to provide reassurance and gather essential medical information.

Coordination with Medical Professionals

  • Communicate patient status and provide a handover to paramedics, emergency room staff, or other healthcare professionals.
  • Follow protocols to administer medication or advanced care under the direction of medical personnel if certified.

Equipment and Supplies Management

  • Maintain and inspect medical equipment and supplies to ensure functionality and readiness.
  • Restock and sanitize the ambulance and equipment after each call.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and any observations in detailed reports.
  • Complete required administrative tasks promptly, complying with local and federal regulations.

Education and Experience:

Bsc. ETCT with minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
