Job Title: Business Analyst

Job Description: The Business Analyst is responsible for understanding business needs, assessing the impact of changes, capturing and documenting requirements, and supporting the communication and delivery of those requirements to relevant stakeholders. They work closely with project teams to ensure that business objectives are met effectively and efficiently.

  1. Requirements Gathering:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business needs, objectives, and requirements.
    • Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to gather user and business requirements.
  2. Business Process Analysis:
    • Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop workflows, process maps, and business models to optimize operations.
  3. Documentation:
    • Create clear and concise documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories.
    • Maintain project documentation and ensure alignment with project goals.
  4. Stakeholder Communication:
    • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and other project participants.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project updates regularly.
  5. Solution Design & Evaluation:
    • Assist in designing solutions that meet business needs and align with strategic goals.
    • Evaluate proposed solutions for feasibility and impact.
  6. Data Analysis:
    • Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
    • Develop reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
  7. Project Support:
    • Work with project managers to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
    • Support testing and quality assurance to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  8. Change Management:
    • Assist in managing and communicating changes effectively across teams.
    • Provide training and support to users during and after project implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in business analysis or a related role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, JIRA, Tableau, Visio, or other analysis and documentation tools.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
