Job Title: IT Manager
Job Description: The IT Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading IT-related activities within the organization. This role ensures the secure and efficient operation of IT systems, infrastructure, and software to meet the organization’s needs. The IT Manager will manage a team of IT professionals, vendors, and consultants to deliver high-quality technical solutions and support.

1. IT Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement IT strategies and plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Assess current and future technology needs and make recommendations.
- Manage IT budgets, forecasts, and procurement.
2. Infrastructure and System Management
- Oversee the maintenance, upgrade, and optimization of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
- Ensure data security, backup, and disaster recovery measures are in place and up to date.
- Monitor and improve system performance and reliability.
3. Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT professionals.
- Set performance goals, provide feedback, and conduct evaluations.
- Foster collaboration between IT and other departments to address technical needs.
4. Project Management
- Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
5. Security and Compliance
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect organizational data.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Conduct audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions.
6. Support and Troubleshooting
- Oversee the helpdesk and provide guidance for complex technical issues.
- Ensure timely resolution of IT support requests.
7. Vendor and Stakeholder Management
- Evaluate, negotiate, and manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
- Oversee contracts, SLAs, and software licensing agreements.
Key Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in healthcare industry.
- Experience with IT systems, networks, and technologies relevant to the organization.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
