Job Title: HR Assistant

Job Description: The HR Assistant provides administrative support to the Human Resources department by performing tasks related to recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills who can manage confidential information effectively.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to, confirm your Job Descriptions with the Interviewer:

Administrative Support

  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
  • Prepare and distribute HR-related documents, such as contracts, policies, and onboarding materials.
  • Schedule interviews, meetings, and appointments for the HR department.

Recruitment Support

  • Post job advertisements on various platforms.
  • Screen resumes and coordinate initial candidate interviews.
  • Assist in organizing and attending career fairs or recruitment events.

Employee Onboarding and Offboarding

  • Assist in the onboarding process, including preparing materials and setting up new hire orientations.
  • Ensure proper documentation for resignations, terminations, or transfers.

Compliance and Documentation

  • Ensure all HR practices comply with labor laws and regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining and auditing employee files for compliance.

Employee Relations

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Support HR programs like training sessions, employee engagement activities, and recognition programs.

Payroll and Benefits Support

  • Coordinate with the payroll department to ensure accuracy in employee compensation.
  • Assist in benefits enrollment and administration.

Other Duties

  • Assist in HR projects, such as implementing new HR software or processes.
  • Provide general office support, such as ordering supplies or managing correspondence.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Any degree.
  • Experience:
    1 year of experience in an administrative or HR role (preferred but not mandatory for entry-level). Freshers can also apply.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Familiarity with HRIS software and ATS systems is an advantage.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
