Job Title: Arabic Translator
Job Description: An Arabic Translator is responsible for converting written or spoken material from Arabic to another language (or vice versa), ensuring that the meaning and context are preserved. They work across various industries, including business, education, healthcare, government, and media, to facilitate communication between Arabic and non-Arabic speakers.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to, confirm your Job Descriptions with the Interviewer:
- Translation:
- Translate written documents, audio, or video materials accurately between Arabic and the target language while maintaining meaning, tone, and context.
- Adapt cultural references to ensure they are appropriate for the target audience.
- Interpretation:
- Provide verbal interpretation during meetings, conferences, interviews, or phone calls.
- Ensure clear and accurate communication between parties speaking different languages.
- Editing and Proofreading:
- Review translated materials for grammar, syntax, and accuracy.
- Proofread translations to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Cultural Mediation:
- Advise clients or colleagues on cultural nuances and sensitivities in communication.
- Help adapt marketing, legal, or technical content to align with Arabic cultural standards.
- Research and Terminology Management:
- Research industry-specific terminology and ensure its correct usage in translations.
- Develop and maintain a database of common phrases and technical terms.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other translators, editors, and project managers to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and context.
Qualifications and Skills:
- UG/PG with minimum 1 year of experience in International patient coordination.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Excellent knowledge of grammar, syntax, and linguistic nuances in both languages.
