Job Title: Pharmacy Incharge

Job Summary: The Pharmacy Incharge is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards, managing inventory, supervising pharmacy staff, and providing high-quality pharmaceutical services to patients and customers.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to, confirm your Job Descriptions with the Interviewer:

  1. Pharmacy Operations Management
    • Supervise and coordinate all pharmacy activities.
    • Ensure dispensing of medicines is accurate, safe, and in compliance with prescriptions.
    • Maintain updated knowledge of drugs, dosages, and regulations.
  2. Inventory & Stock Control
    • Monitor stock levels, place orders, and prevent shortages or overstocking.
    • Check expiry dates and ensure proper storage conditions for medicines.
    • Maintain inventory records and perform periodic audits.
  3. Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure the pharmacy operates in line with local laws, licensing requirements, and health regulations.
    • Keep necessary documentation updated for audits and inspections.
  4. Team Supervision & Training
    • Manage, guide, and evaluate pharmacy staff performance.
    • Train team members on SOPs, safety measures, and customer service.
  5. Customer Service
    • Counsel patients/customers on the proper use of medications.
    • Handle queries and complaints professionally.
  6. Financial Management
    • Monitor sales and expenses.
    • Assist in preparing budgets and reports for pharmacy performance.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Diploma in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / D.Pharm).
  • Experience: 5 years in pharmacy operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
    • Good knowledge of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.
    • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
    • Proficiency in pharmacy management software.
