Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment, utilities, and facility systems to ensure minimal downtime and optimal manufacturing performance. This role supports continuous improvement by implementing preventive maintenance programs and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, production lines, and plant systems (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures to minimize downtime.
- Install, assemble, and test new machines and production equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection reports, and spare parts inventory.
- Assist in developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules (PM plans).
- Work with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Support continuous improvement projects, process upgrades, and equipment modifications.
- Perform basic PLC fault finding and collaborate with automation specialists when needed.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
- Qualification: ITI or Diploma with minimum 2 years of experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) preferred.
