Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment, machinery, and facilities operate efficiently and safely. This role involves troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, conducting repairs, and supporting smooth operations within the organization.

- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of equipment, machinery, and facilities.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems.
- Repair and replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain records of maintenance work, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns or emergency maintenance requests.
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment or systems.
- Collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
- Recommend improvements for equipment performance and maintenance processes.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma, ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Basic computer knowledge for reporting and documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts and weekends if required.
