Job Title: Group Purchase Manager
Job Summary: The Group Purchase Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the purchasing and procurement activities across multiple business units or group companies. The role ensures cost-effective procurement of goods and services, vendor management, contract negotiations, and development of strategic sourcing plans to support business objectives while maintaining quality standards.

- Develop and implement group-wide procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Oversee centralized purchasing activities across different business units.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
- Establish and maintain vendor relationships while ensuring compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
- Analyze market trends to forecast future procurement needs and opportunities.
- Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to understand procurement requirements.
- Ensure proper inventory control, stock level optimization, and timely replenishment.
- Review and approve purchase orders, contracts, and agreements.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations to ensure quality and reliability.
- Manage procurement budgets and prepare regular reports on cost savings, vendor performance, and compliance.
- Drive digitalization and process improvements in procurement operations.
- Lead, train, and supervise the procurement team to enhance efficiency and skills.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 15 years of experience in purchase or procurement.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, procurement software, and contract management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of compliance, quality standards, and cost control.
