Job Title: Staff Nurse
Job Summary: The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and recovery. The role involves assisting doctors, administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and maintaining accurate medical records in accordance with healthcare standards and policies.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to, confirm your Job Descriptions with the Interviewer:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications, injections, and IV therapies.
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and progress.
- Assist doctors during medical examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Ensure proper patient hygiene, comfort, and mobility assistance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Follow infection control procedures and hospital safety protocols.
- Handle emergency situations and provide first aid as required.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care.
- Maintain confidentiality and treat patients with compassion and dignity.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- BSC Nursing or GNM with minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Registered Nurse with valid license/certification.
- Knowledge of nursing care methods, procedures, and emergency care.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
