Job Summary: The Public Relations Officer (PRO) is responsible for building and maintaining a positive image of the healthcare organization. This role involves managing communication between the organization and the public, coordinating with government departments for documentation and licensing, and ensuring smooth administrative and compliance operations.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to, confirm your Job Descriptions with the Interviewer:

  • Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance the hospital/clinic’s public image.
  • Manage internal and external communications, press releases, and media relations.
  • Liaise with government authorities for healthcare licenses, visa renewals, and approvals.
  • Handle official documentation, such as medical staff licensing, health department approvals, and registration renewals.
  • Assist in organizing health awareness events, CSR activities, and public outreach programs.
  • Address and resolve public or patient queries in coordination with management.
  • Maintain positive relationships with media outlets and local community representatives.
  • Monitor and report public perception and suggest improvements to enhance reputation.
  • Support HR in onboarding expatriate staff by processing necessary documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • MSW/ MHA/ MBA with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and government documentation procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and documentation management systems.
