Job Title: PURCHASE MANAGER
Job Summary: The Purchase Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing all purchasing and procurement activities of the organization. The role ensures timely sourcing of quality materials, products, and services at competitive prices while maintaining strong supplier relationships. The Purchase Manager also manages inventory levels, negotiates contracts, controls costs, and ensures compliance with company policies and quality standards.

- Plan, develop, and implement purchasing strategies in line with company goals and budgets
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best quality, price, and delivery terms
- Manage vendor relationships and conduct regular performance reviews
- Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and agreements
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores, production, and logistics teams to avoid shortages or overstock
- Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services
- Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and quality standards
- Coordinate with finance/accounts for invoice verification and payment processing
Qualifications & Education:
- MBA
- Minimum 10 yrs of experience in both general and pharmacy purchase in hospital
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
