Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

In Romania’s dynamic construction and hospitality sectors, professionals in various roles contribute to the success and quality of projects and services.

Foreman Rebar Worker:

  • Supervising and coordinating rebar installation and reinforcement activities on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Leading and managing a team of rebar workers, providing guidance, instruction, and support to maximize productivity, efficiency, and quality of work.
  • Inspecting rebar assemblies for accuracy, alignment, and compliance with engineering drawings and design requirements, and making adjustments or corrections as needed.
  • Communicating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate work schedules, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Rebar Worker:

  • Cutting, bending, and securing reinforcing steel bars (rebar) according to engineering drawings, blueprints, or specifications, using hand tools, rebar cutters, and tying equipment.
  • Installing rebar in concrete forms or structures to reinforce and strengthen foundations, slabs, walls, columns, and other structural elements, following layout plans and spacing requirements.
  • Tying rebar intersections and splices securely with wire or steel ties, and positioning rebar accurately to ensure proper alignment and support for concrete pours.
  • Assisting foremen and supervisors with layout, measurement, and assembly of rebar assemblies, and performing other construction-related tasks as assigned.

Foreman Formworker:

  • Overseeing formwork construction and installation activities on building and infrastructure projects, including concrete forms, molds, and shoring systems, to create structural elements such as walls, columns, beams, and slabs.
  • Directing and supervising formwork crews, ensuring safe work practices, efficient use of materials, and compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Inspecting formwork assemblies for quality, accuracy, and stability, and addressing any issues or deficiencies to maintain structural integrity and safety.
  • Collaborating with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to plan and execute formwork activities according to project timelines and requirements.

Skilled Formworker:

  • Constructing and assembling formwork systems and components, such as plywood panels, lumber, and metal bracing, to create molds for concrete casting on construction sites.
  • Reading and interpreting formwork plans, diagrams, and specifications to determine layout, dimensions, and materials requirements for formwork assemblies.
  • Erecting and aligning formwork structures, adjusting and bracing components as needed to achieve desired shapes, angles, and dimensions for concrete pours.
  • Stripping and dismantling formwork after concrete has cured, cleaning and maintaining formwork materials and equipment, and preparing for reuse or storage.

Cook:

  • Preparing and cooking meals, dishes, and food items according to established recipes, menus, and dietary requirements, ensuring quality, taste, and presentation standards are met.
  • Operating kitchen equipment and appliances safely and efficiently, including stoves, ovens, grills, and fryers, and following food safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
  • Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels for ingredients, groceries, and kitchen supplies to support daily operations and menu offerings.
  • Collaborating with kitchen staff, servers, and management to plan menus, develop new recipes, and accommodate special dietary requests or preferences of guests.
