Job Designation: Staff Nurse

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  1. Patient Care:
    • Assess and monitor patients’ health conditions by performing physical examinations, recording vital signs, and documenting medical histories.
    • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
    • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and safety.
  2. Clinical Skills:
    • Perform diagnostic tests, interpret results, and communicate findings to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
    • Operate and monitor medical equipment and assist in medical procedures as needed.
    • Provide wound care, manage intravenous lines, and ensure proper hygiene and comfort for patients.
  3. Patient Education:
    • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
    • Provide guidance on lifestyle changes, diet, and exercise to promote health and prevent illness.
  4. Coordination and Communication:
    • Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers.
    • Maintain clear and accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.
  5. Emergency Response:
    • Respond to medical emergencies, providing immediate and effective care.
    • Participate in emergency preparedness and disaster response planning and execution.

Qualifications:

  • BSc Nursing and Specializing in LDR / ENDOSCOPY / CATH LAB / OR / RECOVERY ROOM / IVF
  • Valid nursing license.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
