Job Summary: A construction worker performs various tasks to aid in the construction, maintenance, and repair of buildings, roads, and other structures. This role involves a combination of physical labor, use of machinery, and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate is reliable, able to work well with a team, and has a strong understanding of construction techniques and tools.

Responsibilities may included but are not limited to:

  1. Site Preparation:
    • Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are available.
    • Set up and take down temporary structures, such as scaffolding.
  2. Material Handling:
    • Load and unload building materials and distribute them to the appropriate locations on site.
    • Mix, pour, and spread concrete and other materials.
  3. Construction Tasks:
    • Dig trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth to prepare for construction.
    • Assist in erecting, leveling, and installing building framework using hand and power tools.
    • Lay bricks, blocks, and stones to build walls and other structures.
  4. Equipment Operation:
    • Operate and tend to machinery and equipment such as cement mixers, drills, and saws.
    • Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean and in good working order.
  5. Demolition and Cleanup:
    • Perform demolition activities, including dismantling structures and removing hazardous materials.

Qualifications:
