Job Title: Chemical Operator

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  1. Operating Equipment: Running and monitoring equipment such as reactors, mixers, and pumps to ensure proper mixing, reaction, and processing of chemicals.
  2. Safety and Compliance: Adhering strictly to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. This includes handling hazardous materials and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
  3. Quality Control: Monitoring and testing products during various stages of production to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  4. Process Optimization: Adjusting process variables to optimize production efficiency, minimize waste, and improve product quality.
  5. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Performing routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshooting any operational issues that may arise.
  6. Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of production activities, including batch logs, equipment readings, and process changes.
  7. Teamwork and Communication: Collaborating with other operators, engineers, and support staff to ensure smooth operations and timely production.

Qualifications:

  1. BSc MLT or DMLT or BSc microbiology.
  2. Candidate should have minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Pharmaceutical Industry.
  3. Strong understanding of chemical processes, equipment operations, and safety protocols.
  4. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as batch recipes, operating procedures, and safety data sheets.
  5. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
