Job Title: Nurse
Job Summary: The Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs. This role involves administering medications, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The Nurse will work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities, delivering compassionate and evidence-based care.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Patient Care:
- Assess patients’ health status by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and progress.
- Medical Procedures:
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures, including drawing blood, inserting IVs, and performing wound care.
- Prepare and maintain sterile environments for medical procedures.
- Provide patient education on disease management, medication usage, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide information and support.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including care plans, treatment notes, and medication administration.
- Document patient progress, changes in condition, and any significant events or incidents.
Qualifications:
- BSc Nursing.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license or Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification, as applicable.
- 4 years of proven experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Promatric can be done after interview.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
- Work is typically performed in a healthcare facility, such as a hospital, clinic, or long-term care facility.
- May require working irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on the healthcare setting.
