Job Summary: A Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas. This includes sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing, and other tasks to keep spaces such as offices, buildings, or public areas safe, clean, and presentable. Cleaners may work in a variety of settings, including commercial, residential, and industrial spaces.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Clean designated areas by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting surfaces and floors.
- Sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Empty trash bins, replace liners, and properly dispose of waste materials.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels as needed.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces to ensure they are free of smudges and fingerprints.
Qualifications:
- No formal education required, though previous cleaning experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment is preferred.
- Physical stamina and ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
Working Conditions:
- Work may include various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
