Job Summary:
A Heavy Driver is responsible for operating and managing heavy vehicles, such as trucks, trailers, tankers, or construction vehicles, to transport large loads safely and efficiently. Heavy Drivers play a crucial role in logistics and construction, ensuring the safe delivery of materials, equipment, or goods over long distances or across construction sites.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Operate heavy-duty vehicles, such as trucks, trailers, and tankers, following all local and federal road regulations.
  • Transport goods, raw materials, or heavy equipment from designated locations to delivery points.
  • Inspect vehicles daily to ensure they are in safe and working condition; report any mechanical issues or malfunctions.
  • Plan and follow efficient routes to maximize fuel usage and meet delivery schedules.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.

Qualifications:
