Job Title: MACHINE OPERATORS
Job Overview:
The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various machines used in the production process. This role ensures that machines are functioning efficiently and safely, producing high-quality products in accordance with company standards. Machine Operators work in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, food production, packaging, and textiles, and are essential to maintaining the smooth flow of operations.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Machine Setup and Operation: Set up and operate machinery according to production schedules and quality standards. Adjust machine settings as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitoring: Continuously monitor machine operations to ensure products are being produced within specifications. Identify and address any issues with machinery, equipment, or products promptly.
- Quality Control: Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Perform routine checks for defects and ensure compliance with safety and production standards.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform regular maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and changing parts as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions or production issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Wear proper protective equipment and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Documentation: Record and maintain production data, including machine performance, material usage, and any issues encountered during operation. Complete production logs and report any deviations from production plans.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Cold Foring Screw and Bolts.
- Technical aptitude and the ability to understand machine operations and schematics.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow safety and quality procedures.
- Basic English knowledge.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Educational Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
- Technical or vocational training in machinery operation or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in machine operation or safety is a plus.
