Job Title: Barista (Filter Coffee & Tea)

Overview: A Barista specializing in filter coffee and tea plays a key role in creating a welcoming café experience by preparing and serving high-quality beverages. They ensure excellent customer service, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and possess a strong knowledge of coffee and tea preparation techniques.

Responsibilities may include but are not limitd to:

  1. Preparation of Beverages:
    • Brew and serve filter coffee, tea, and other hot or cold beverages as per standard recipes.
    • Customize beverages based on customer preferences, including strength, sweetness, and additional flavors.
    • Maintain consistency and quality in every cup served.
  2. Customer Service:
    • Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
    • Provide recommendations on coffee and tea options, highlighting specialty brews or seasonal offerings.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing feedback and resolving complaints promptly.
  3. Workstation Management:
    • Set up, clean, and maintain brewing equipment, including coffee machines, tea kettles, and grinders.
    • Keep the workstation organized and stocked with necessary supplies like coffee beans, tea leaves, filters, milk, and sweeteners.
    • Follow health and safety standards to ensure a hygienic environment.
  4. Inventory and Supplies:
    • Monitor inventory levels of coffee, tea, and other supplies, reporting shortages to management.
    • Assist in ordering and restocking supplies to ensure uninterrupted service.
  5. Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other staff members to ensure smooth café operations.
