Job Title: Homecare Nurse
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Patient Care:
- Administer medications, wound care, injections, and other prescribed treatments.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and health status, reporting changes to healthcare providers.
- Care Planning:
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients’ medical needs.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Patient and Family Education:
- Educate patients and their families on managing illnesses, medication regimens, and lifestyle adjustments.
- Provide guidance on maintaining a safe and healthy home environment.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of patient care, progress, and any changes in their condition.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and reporting requirements.
- Support and Assistance:
- Offer emotional support to patients and families, addressing concerns with empathy.
- Assist with daily living activities when necessary, such as bathing, dressing, or mobility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification (BSc,GNM).
- Valid nursing license and certification in home care or relevant specialization (preferred).
- Proven experience in patient care, preferably in a homecare setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Work Environment:
- Travel to patients’ homes within a designated area.
- Flexible working hours, including potential evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts.
