Job Title: Industrial Electrician
Job Summary: An industrial electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in industrial facilities, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in industrial settings.
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical components of machinery and equipment, such as motors, control systems, and power distribution panels.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure proper installation and compliance.
- Test electrical systems and components using tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and test lamps.
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
- Adhere to safety protocols, electrical codes, and company standards during all tasks.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other team members to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and record-keeping.
