Job Title: Staff Nurse

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  1. Patient Care & Monitoring:

  2. Medication Administration:
    • Administer medications, injections, and IV therapies as prescribed.
    • Monitor for any adverse reactions and report concerns to physicians.

    • Maintain accurate patient records, treatment histories, and progress reports.
    • Update electronic health records (EHR) and assist in medical documentation.
  4. Patient Education & Support:
    • Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and post-care instructions.
    • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
  5. Infection Control & Safety Compliance:
    • Follow hospital protocols for hygiene, sterilization, and infection control.
    • Ensure patient safety by maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  6. Collaboration with Healthcare Teams:
    • Work closely with doctors, specialists, and other nurses to coordinate patient care.
    • Participate in medical rounds and contribute to treatment planning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education & Certification:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSc Nursing) or General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM).
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license from a recognized health authority.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong patient care and clinical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical procedures, medications, and equipment.
