Job Title: Staff Nurse
Job Summary: To provide high-quality nursing care to patients by assisting doctors, monitoring patient conditions, administering medication, and ensuring adherence to hospital protocols and healthcare standards.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Provide direct patient care including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily living activities.
- Support physicians during examinations, treatments, and medical procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records, charts, and reports as per hospital standards.
- Ensure infection control practices and patient safety protocols are followed.
- Educate patients and families on health management, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment, instruments, and supplies.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide first aid/CPR when necessary.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care.
- Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge procedures of patients.
- Uphold confidentiality and maintain professional ethics in patient care.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- B.Sc. or GNM Nursing.
- Prometric with dataflow required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and detail-oriented.
