1.Steel Fixer
Job Summary: Responsible for cutting, bending, and fixing steel bars and mesh to reinforce concrete structures such as beams, slabs, and columns according to drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
- Cut, bend, and tie reinforcement steel bars or mesh into designated shapes and positions.
- Assemble reinforcement cages and fix them in formwork before concrete pouring.
- Ensure accurate spacing and alignment of rebars.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain work tools properly.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in steel fixing or rebar work in the construction field.
- Ability to read construction drawings.
- Physical fitness and attention to detail.
2.Shuttering Carpenter
Job Summary: Responsible for making, assembling, and dismantling formwork (moulds) for concrete structures such as columns, beams, slabs, and foundations.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Construct and install formwork according to drawings and measurements.
- Prepare shuttering panels using timber, plywood, or metal sheets.
- Align and secure formwork properly before concrete pouring.
- Dismantle formwork safely after concrete sets.
- Ensure accuracy and smooth finish of concrete structures.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in shuttering carpentry or formwork operations.
- Knowledge of tools, measurements, and materials used in formwork.
- Ability to work independently and follow safety standards.
3.Block & Plaster Mason
Job Summary: Performs masonry work involving laying of concrete blocks, bricks, and applying plaster finishes on walls, ceilings, and structures.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Lay blocks, bricks, or stones according to specified levels and alignments.
- Mix mortar and plaster materials in correct proportions.
- Apply smooth or textured plaster finishes to walls and ceilings.
- Repair and maintain existing masonry structures.
- Follow construction drawings and quality standards.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in block work and plastering.
- Knowledge of mixing materials and surface preparation.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain workmanship quality.
4.Civil Helper
Job Summary: Assists skilled workers such as masons, carpenters, and steel fixers in construction tasks and site operations.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Carry and move construction materials and tools.
- Assist in mixing concrete, mortar, and other building materials.
- Clean work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Provide support to skilled workers during daily site activities.
- Follow instructions and adhere to site safety guidelines.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of construction activities.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual labor.
- Willingness to work under supervision and follow safety procedures.
