Job Title: PRODUCTION OPERATOR
Job Summary: A Production Operator is responsible for operating machinery and equipment in a manufacturing or production environment to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient production processes. The role involves monitoring equipment, assembling or processing products, performing quality checks, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards on the production line to meet production targets and quality requirements
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Operating and monitoring production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Loading raw materials into machines and ensuring smooth production flow.
- Ensuring products meet quality standards through visual inspections and testing.
- Recording production data, machine performance, and any deviations or issues.
- Following health, safety, and environmental guidelines at all times.
- Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not always required.
- Basic knowledge of machinery operation and production processes; ability to read production manuals or instructions.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Understanding of workplace safety rules and commitment to following them.
