Job Summary:A General Worker in a meat processing unit is responsible for supporting daily operations related to the handling, processing, packing, and storage of meat products. The role includes assisting in production lines, maintaining hygiene and sanitation standards, handling raw and processed meat, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. The position requires physical stamina, attention to cleanliness, and the ability to work in cold environments while following company and international quality standards.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Assisting in meat cutting, trimming, deboning, and processing operations
- Handling, sorting, weighing, and packing meat products
- Operating basic processing and packaging equipment as instructed
- Maintaining strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards
- Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, tools, and machinery
- Meeting daily production targets and maintaining efficiency
Qualifications & Skills
- SSLC
- Basic English knowledge
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor for long hours
- Willingness to work in cold, refrigerated, and fast-paced environments
- Basic understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety practices
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
