1. WATERPROOFING WORKERS
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Apply waterproofing membranes, coatings, sealants, and chemicals to surfaces
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, drying, and repairing cracks or damages
- Install waterproofing systems on roofs, basements, walls, terraces, and wet areas
- Mix and apply waterproofing compounds as per specifications
- Inspect treated areas for leaks, gaps, and defects
- Repair and maintain existing waterproofing systems
- Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment
2. DRYWALL INSTALLERS
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings
- Secure drywall to metal or wooden framing using screws, nails, or adhesives
- Tape, mud, and finish joints to create smooth surfaces
- Repair or replace damaged drywall sections
- Read and follow blueprints and layout plans
- Ensure proper alignment, level, and finishing quality
3. TILERS
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Measure, cut, and install ceramic, porcelain, marble, and other tiles on floors, walls, and surfaces
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesive or mortar
- Lay tiles in proper patterns ensuring alignment and spacing
- Cut tiles to fit around edges, corners, pipes, and fixtures
- Follow safety standards and maintain a clean work area
4. CARPENTERS
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Measure, cut, shape, and install wood, plywood, and other building materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work specifications
- Construct, install, and repair structures such as doors, windows, frames, cabinets, and furniture
- Build formwork for concrete and other construction activities
- Coordinate with supervisors and other construction workers to complete projects on time
5. STEEL FIXERS
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Read and interpret structural drawings and bar bending schedules
- Cut, bend, and shape steel bars and mesh as per project specifications
- Fix and tie reinforcement steel in columns, beams, slabs, walls, and foundations
- Position and secure steel using wire, clips, or mechanical fasteners
- Ensure correct spacing, alignment, and cover as per engineering standards
6. WELDERS
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Operate welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, ARC, and gas welding machines
- Cut, shape, and prepare metal parts using hand tools and power tools
- Join metal components using appropriate welding techniques
- Inspect welded joints for quality, strength, and accuracy
- Ensure work meets project and quality requirements
7. WAREHOUSE HANDLERS
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Loading and unloading goods from trucks, containers, and pallets
- Sorting, labeling, and organizing inventory in designated storage areas
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
- Checking items for damage, shortages, or quality issues
- Operating basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trolleys
8. UNSKILLED CONSTRUCTION WORKERS
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Assisting skilled workers such as masons, carpenters, steel fixers, and electricians
- Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials and tools
- Mixing cement, mortar, and concrete as instructed
- Cleaning and preparing job sites, including removing debris and waste
- Helping with scaffolding, formwork, and basic structure setup
- Supporting daily site operations as directed by supervisors
